I get up around seven
Get outta bed around nine
And I don't worry about nothin' no
Cause worryin's a waste of my...time
The show usually starts around seven
We go on stage around nine
Get on the bus about eleven
Sippin' a drink and feelin' fineGuns N Roses — Mr. Brownstone
Except, change seven to six and nine to six-fifteen. Minus the show, but I get on the bus at 7:22, and the only drink I'm sipping is a triple shot grande latte in the freaking rain. So what the truck am I blathering about? I started my new job today. Yay! And the commute is about an hour and fifteen minutes. And I have to be at work by 8:30, so that means I get to leave home by about 7:00. Not the worst thing in the world, but a far cry from my 9:50 departure time when living in DC. But also, on the news front: Meghan and I are seriously considering putting in an offer on a cute cottage/apartment. It's extremely nerve-wracking, but if all goes well, we could be homeowners by March! Talk about some craziness. Once we get the offer in, I'll give you more details, but I don't want anybody getting ideas and scooping up our hot property. Hands off! Okay, that's it from me. Time more more whiskey and dinner.

first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes....homeownership!! woop woop! ain't it just grand a thing to be preparing to obtain some equity?? I think it's just swell. :-) For serious. I'm planning on owning a place by August.

Home ownership is for plutocrats and people over the age of 35.

Well then buy me a shot and tell me I was born in 1970 because we're getting a new place. We put in the offer, it was accepted, we're closing on the 3rd. Hopefully the inspection wil go well and we'll have no problems getting financing. When I get some pictures I'll post them. I'll even forgive you for the "plutocrats" comment and let you come visit. And Parker, you have an open invitation.
