Allow me to introduce you to The Blueberry Muffin Divers, the baddest soccer team in Seattle... and who is that handsome devil in front, on the right-hand-side? Oh, is that me? Well, I guess the secret is out of the bag. Yup, I joined a small-sided soccer league last month and have been knocking the ball around with this rag-tag cadre of footballers and we have a fairly impressive scorecard: 0-3-2. Okay, so maybe it's not that impressive, but it is a ton of fun. We have another game today, and I think we are going to win. I'll let you know how it turns out. But even if we don't, we have the best name in the league. Don't ask how we came up with the name, just appreciate the brilliance.
awesomeness....pure awesomeness. It's funny that you joined a team recently. I've been considering doing the same thing. Perhaps a monday league on the mall.
and by the way...i am extremely happy to report that I have internet at home again!! woot woot!!
and I'd also like to mention that I have extricated myself from the vile and heinous grip of Comcast - and the kicker is, the service is better! That's right, I'm getting my internet through DSL from Verizon for 24.99 a month (compared with comcast's 60 a month), and I'm getting Direct TV for 100 bucks cheaper than comcast (and the picture is a million times better). Holy shmoly, I'm loving life comcast-free.
I do advise you guys to do the same, and ween yourself off of comcast. You'll be happy you did, as will your wallet (or pocketbook, christina).
